EAST LANSING – On Thursday, the Wolverines scored four on the Spartans at Yost.

On Friday, at Munn, the Spartans posted five.

With a 5-0 win on the backend of a home-and-home, Michigan State earned a rivalry week series split against their main rival.

It was the first win over the Wolverines for first-year MSU head coach Danton Cole. With the victory, MSU improves to 8-9-1 on the season, while UM drops to 7-7-2.

Patrick Khodorenko scored twice, while Mitch Lewandowski, Mitch Eliot and Logan Lambdin also found the back of the net for the Spartans in the Friday night victory.
