They saved the best for last. In the final game of the 2017 World Junior Summer Showcase in Plymouth, Team USA beat Team Canada 7-5 in a thrilling conclusion to the offseason event. NTDP alum Joey Anderson registered a hat trick, leading the way for the American squad with four total points. Red Wings prospect Givani Smith scored for Team Canada.
