The Michigan Wolverines have added three players to their program in time for the 2017-18 season.

Mel Pearson will welcome forwards Jack Becker, Alex Roos and Luke Morgan.

Morgan, a Brighton native, is a transfer from Lake Superior State. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound forward, who played midget hockey for Little Caesars before joining the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders of the USHL for the 2015-16 season, posted 22 points in 36 games for the Lakers last year.

He will have to sit out the 2017-18 season before suiting up for Michigan in 2018-19.

Roos, a forward from Praire Grove, Ill., played three seasons for Colorado College. He recorded 15 goals and 13 assists in 105 career games.

He arrives as a graduate student, so he’s eligible to play immediately.

Becker is not transferring; the native of Dellwood, Minn., is a traditional freshman entering the Wolverines’ program after playing for Sioux Falls of the USHL last season. He’s a seventh round pick of the Boston Bruins in the 2015 NHL Draft.
