Another Michigan boy is returning home.

The Grand Rapids Griffins announced today that they have signed Bloomfield native Pat Nagle to a one-year contract.

A four-year letter winner with the Ferris State Bulldogs from 2007-11, Nagle still ranks No. 3 among the school’s all-time goaltenders in wins (45) and goals-against average (2.32).

Last year, he appeared in 25 games with the ECHL’s Fort Wayne Komets, recording a 15-3-4 record, a 2.23 goals-against average and .916 save percentage.

A 6-foot-2, 195-pound netminder, Nagle appeared in two games with the Griffins in 2014-15. In those outings, he picked up one win, a 0.78 goals-against average and a .971 save percentage.
