Novi native Vanya Lodnia selected by Minnesota in the 2017 NHL Draft

Vanya Lodnia will be heading to Minnesota when he’s done in juniors.

The Novi native was selected by the Minnesota Wild in the third round of the 2017 NHL Draft.

A product of Belle Tire and Honeybaked, Lodnia just wrapped up his second season with the Erie Otters of the OHL. In 2016-17, he posted 57 points for the OHL champions.

Over two seasons with the Otters, he has logged 96 points in 128 total games.
