Noah Lalonde has spent his junior hockey career in Youngstown, Ohio and Omaha, Nebraska.

Soon, he’ll be a little closer to home.

The Macomb native has committed to Lake Superior State, where he will continue his hockey career under the tutelage of Damon Whitten and the Lakers’ hockey program.

“I chose LSSU because I felt that after a long discussion with my family we came to the conclusion that it is a great fit for me based on many factors,” Lalonde told MiHockey. “I felt the program is outstanding and has a great history that I would love to help build on.”

The Honeybaked product has spent the last two seasons in the USHL; he played Youngstown for a year and a half before heading to Omaha. In 93 total games, he has recorded 34 points.

He’s excited to live out a hockey journey with the in-state D1 program in the Soo.

“Every since I started playing hockey my dream was to play in college and I’m ecstatic for that dream to come true in a Laker uniform.”
