Report: Little Caesars Arena expected to host 2019 Frozen Four

Today, fans are filling up the streets of Detroit for the Detroit Tigers’ home opener.

Two years from now, it could be for college hockey’s ultimate prize.

The Boston Herald is reporting that the 2019 NCAA Division 1 Men’s Ice Hockey Tournament – the Frozen Four – will take place at the new Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.

Per John Connolly, the NCAA Site Selection Committee will be announcing the hosts for upcoming Frozen Fours on Tuesday, April 18.

Detroit last hosted the Frozen Four when it was played at Ford Field in 2010.
