PHOTOS: Team USA shuts out Russia 7-0 in second game of Women’s Worlds

Fresh off a 2-0 victory over rival Canada Friday night, Team USA continued its winning ways Saturday afternoon with a 7-0 blanking of Russia in the second day of the Women’s World Championship in Plymouth. Seven different players scored for the U.S. Women’s National Team, while Maddie Rooney recorded a shutout between the pipes. The American squad improves to 2-0 in the tournament.
