The Muskegon Lumberjacks are returning to the USHL playoffs.

After making a run all the way to the Clark Cup Finals in 2015, the Lumberjacks will have another shot at a USHL title this spring, as the club has secured its spot in the postseason.

The ‘Jacks will play the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the first round of the Clark Cup Playoffs. The only thing left to be decided is who will be the higher seed.

If the Lumberjacks secure the higher seed in the final week of the regular season, LC Walker Arena will host Game 1 on April 14, and Game 2 on April 15. A if-necessary Game 5 would be played on April 25 in Muskegon.

If Muskegon ends up the lower seed, they will host Game 3 on April 21, and Game 4 on April 23.

As it stands now, the Lumberjacks and Fighting Saints are tied with 75 points through 58 games. Muskegon concludes its 2016-17 regular season with two road contests this weekend; they take on the Chicago Steel on Friday, and then the Bloomington Thunder on Saturday.
