Zach Nagelvoort signs with ECHL’s Missouri Mavericks

Zach Nagelvoort is moving on to the professional ranks.

The University of Michigan netminder and Holland, Mich. native has signed with the ECHL’s Missouri Mavericks for the remainder of the 2016-17 campaign.

Nagelvoort, 23. just finished his senior season with the Wolverines. This past season, he posted a 6-6-1 record with a 2.87 goals-against average and .921 save percentage. Nagelvoort recorded 33 wins in 71 games over a four-year career.

Nagelvoort was originally a fourth-round draft pick of the Edmonton Oilers in 2014.

The Mavericks are the ECHL affiliate of the AHL’s Bridgeport Sound Tigers and NHL’s New York Islanders.
