Six Michigan names receive invites to 2017 NTDP evaluation camp

From March 24-28, some of the best young hockey players in the country will be skating at USA Hockey Arena in the hopes of earning a spot on next year’s NTDP Under-17 Team.

USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program will host its annual evaluation camp to help select next year’s National Under-17 Team – the latest group of players to join the two-year program based out of Plymouth.

Six Michigan names have been invited to the camp:

Ryder Rolston – Little Caesars 16U – Birmingham – Not Yet Committed

Josh Nodler – Honeybaked 16U – Oak Park – Michigan State University

Alex Turcotte – Chicago Mission 16U – Walled Lake – University of Wisconsin

Marcus Gretz – Belle Tire 16U – Macomb – Ohio State University

Arthur Kaliyev – Compuware 16U – Not Yet Committed

Mack Guzda – Honeybaked 16U – Not Yet Committed

Other notable names invited include Michael Gildon, brother of current NTDP defenseman Max Gildon; Jack Hughes, brother of current NTDP defenseman and Michigan commit Quinn Hughes; and Danny Weight, son of Michigan great Doug Weight.
