The University of Michigan picked up a big 5-3 win against No. 5 Minnesota Friday night at Yost Ice Arena after a late third-period rally. Thanks to a game-tying goal by Jake Slaker at the 16:22 mark of the third period, a game-winning goal from Evan Allen at the 17:49 mark and an empty-netter from Will Lockwood in the final minute, the Wolverines added one to the win column to start their weekend series with the No. 1 team in the Big Ten.
