Joel L’Esperance and Jake Jackson scored goals for the Huskies in regulation, both coming in the second period. Freshman goaltender Angus Redmond, who ended up logging 86:32 worth of time in the Huskies’ crease, stopped 36 shots for his 22nd win of the season.

Bowling Green had roared back in the third period, scoring two goals in less than a minute to tie the game. The Falcons received goals from Joe McKeown and Matt Pohlkamp, which were enough to force overtime.

The two schools played to a scoreless tie in the first overtime period, before Hanna’s shot found the back of the net at the 6:35 mark of the second overtime.

The schedule for the 2017 NCAA Tournament will be announced Sunday at noon on ESPNU.
