When you win the conference title, there’s a good chance you’re going to sweep the conference weekly awards.

This week, all of the WCHA players of the week nods go to members of the Michigan Tech Huskies, and rightfully so.

Offensive player of the week honors go to Michael Neville, after the senior forward from Woodbridge, Ont., assisted on Tech’s final two goals in the double-overtime WCHA title game victory over Bowling Green.

Shane Hanna, the overtime hero, was named defensive player of the week, as much for his offensive performance as his work in the ‘D’ zone.

Angus “Beef” Redmond claimed another rookie of the week honor after posting a career-high 36 saves in the Huskies’ 3-2 win that punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament. Redmond has been named rookie of the week four times this season.
