With the conclusion of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association’s regular season last night, the WCHA postseason tournament is officially set to begin.

The top four teams in the WCHA will now host best-of-three quarterfinal match-ups at their home rinks.

Here is what the first round of the WCHA tournament looks like:

  • No. 7 Lake Superior State at No. 2 Michigan Tech
  • No. 5 Ferris State at No. 4 Bowling Green
  • No. 6 Alaska at No. 3 Minnesota State
  • No. 8 Northern Michigan at No. 1 Bemidji State

All of the games will be played Friday through Sunday. Upon conclusion of the first round, the teams will be re-seeded in order of regular-season finish for the semifinals.

This year marks the first postseason tournament in which all WCHA playoff games – including the single-game title contest – will be played on campus sites.
