College Hockey Inc. has released their annual state-by-state MVPs for the collegiate game today, and Michigan’s most valuable player is currently skating in Buffalo, N.Y.

CHI has tabbed Charles Williams, a Canton native and goaltender for Canisius College, as MVP of the Great Lakes State.

Williams is pursuing a master’s degree in sports administration while using his last year of NCAA eligibility with the Golden Griffins after graduating from Ferris State.

He is thriving in his final season, as Williams leads the NCAA in save percentage with a whopping .942 in 35 games played.

Williams holds a 18-6-5 record with the Atlantic Hockey conference.
