Delaney Drake to represent Michigan on U.S. Women’s Under-18 World Championship roster

USA Hockey announced its roster for the 2017 IIHF Under-18 Women’s World Championship today, and Delaney Drake is the lone Michigan representative on the list.

Drake, a native of Traverse, Mich., is a University of Wisconsin commit.

She is the daughter of former Red Wings forward Dallas Drake.

Drake will be helping Team USA defend their title – the U.S. Women’s National Under-18 Team has won the last two tournaments. The 2017 edition begins on Jan. 7 in Zlin, Czech Republic.
