While the Red Wings regained one player today, they lost two.

Detroit announced that they have recalled Tomas Jurco from Grand Rapids after his conditioning stint and activated him from injured reserve.

Meanwhile, the club placed Tyler Bertuzzi and Brendan Smith on seven-day injured reserve.

Jurco, 23, posted one goal and one assist in his two games with the Griffins. The Red Wings forward missed the first two months of the 2016-17 season due to offseason back surgery.

Both Smith and Bertuzzi suffered lower-body injuries in the Wings’ game against Montreal on Saturday. Read more about that here.
