Adams, Washe selected for 2016 U.S. Junior Select Team

USA Hockey announced its roster for the upcoming World Junior A Challenge today, and three Michigan names made the cut.

The roster, filled with players currently skating in the United States Hockey League, features 21 players, also has a note that one more player will be added at a later date.

Here are the Michigan names selected for the tournament, which takes place Dec. 11-17 in Bonnyville, Alberta. Michigan natives are in bold:

 

Collin Adams – Brighton – Muskegon Lumberjacks – University of North Dakota commit

Paul Washe – Clarkston – Tri-City Storm – Western Michigan commit

Ethen Frank – Papillion, Neb. – Lincoln Stars – Western Michigan commit
