Wednesday night marked another ‘first’ for a Michigan native, as Austin Czarnik scored his first NHL goal.

The Washington native lit the lamp for the first time on hockey’s highest stage at the 14:44 mark of the contest between his Boston Bruins and the New York Rangers.

Czarnik isn’t a stranger to scoring, of course; the NTDP and Green Bay Gamblers alum posted 169 points in 159 games for the Miami RedHawks.
