Red Wings reduce roster by 13

UPDATE (Monday, Oct. 3): The Red Wings have assigned Adam Marsh to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s Val-d’Or Foreurs, and Colin Campbell has been released from his tryout. Campbell will now report to Grand Rapids. The Wings’ roster now stands at 48 players.

The Red Wings announced roster moves today that reduces their roster by 11.

Dominic Turgeon and Jake Paterson have been assigned to Grand Rapids, while Givani Smith and Filip Hronek to their respective OHL teams.

Seven players have been released from tryout contracts and will now report to Grand Rapids for the Griffins’ training camp. Those players:
