Red Wings beat Blues in shootout Thursday night

The Detroit Red Wings continued their winning ways Thursday night, recording a shootout victory over the St. Louis Blues on the road. Frans Nielsen scored the lone regulation goal for the Wings, while Petr Mrazek made 31 saves and then seven more in an eight-round shootout. Henrik Zetterberg scored the game-clinching shootout goal.

With the victory, the Wings now have won six straight games.
