Yesterday, the Big Ten announced that tickets were on sale for their conference tournament at Joe Louis Arena.

Today, the Red Wings have followed suit, announcing that fans can now purchase tickets for the “College Hockey in the D” events at Joe Louis Arena.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2016 Great Lakes Invitational and the Feb. 10 “Duel in the D” game between Michigan and Michigan State, as well as the Big Ten tournament – all of which will be the final editions of the events at Joe Louis Arena.

The 2016 GLi begins on Thursday, Dec. 29 with a double-header of Michigan vs. Michigan Tech at 3:30 p.m. and Western Michigan vs. Michigan State at 7 p.m. The winners of those contests will play in the championship game at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 30, while the other two teams will play in a third-place game at 3:30.

Lower level reserved rows 0-1 will be $45 per day for the GLi. Lower level reserved rows 2-20 will be $30 and upper level general admission tickets will be $18.

The “Duel in the D” game pits Michigan vs. Michigan State in a battle for the “Iron D” Trophy, which MSU won last year in overtime. Tickets for that game are $48 for lower level reserved rows 0-1, $35 for lower level reserved rows 2-20 and $18 for upper level general admission.

Individual tickets are now on sale for each event hosted at Joe Louis Arena. Tickets can be purchased at the JLA Box Office (313-471-7575), all Ticketmaster (800-745-3000) outlets and online at www.OlympiaEntertainment.com.
