NTDP announces promotional schedule for 20th anniversary season

USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this season, has announced its promotional schedule and theme nights for the upcoming 2016-17 season.

The NTDP will have 23 promotion nights for fans in attendance. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Star Wars Night returns on Saturday, Jan. 28 when the U18 Team takes on the Tri-City Storm.
  • Mascot Madness takes place on Friday, Jan. 13 when the U17 Team takes on the Green Bay Gamblers.
  • The Teddy Bear Toss Game will be on Saturday, Dec. 3. vs. the Chicago Steel.
  • Fans will be able to skate with the U18 Team after their 2 p.m. game against Trinity College on Friday, Dec. 30.
  • Fans will be able to skate with the U17 Team after their 2 p.m. game against Muskegon on Martin Luther King Day (Monday, Jan. 16).
  • Military Weekend will take place on Friday, March 3 and Saturday, March 4 against the Waterloo Blakchawks
  • Fan Appreciation Night will be on Friday, March 24 against the Bloomington Thunder, followed by Billet Night on Saturday, March 25.
