Red Wings announce promotions and giveaways calendar for “Farewell Season at The Joe”

The 2016-17 season will be the Red Wings’ final campaign at Joe Louis Arena, and the team is going out with a bang – at least in the promotions and giveaways department.

Check out some of the items fans will be able to collect at JLA this season during the “Farewell Season at The Joe” year-long celebration.

Notable giveaways:

  • Oct. 17 (home opener) – Rally towels (all fans) and a Gordie Howe poster (all fans)
  • Oct. 25 – Dylan Larkin bobblehead (first 5,000 fans)
  • Nov. 4 – Gordie Howe Statue replica (first 5,000 fans)
  • No. 29 – Ted Lindsay Statue replica (first 5,000 fans)
  • Dec. 15 – Joe Louis Arena championship banner flag (first 5,000 fans)
