Now, they can dive into the rest of the Wings’ schedule.

The Detroit Red Wings will play their final regular-season game at Joe Louis Arena on April 9 against the New Jersey Devils.

The schedule – which will feature many entertainment acts, championship and alumni celebrations and memorable giveaways – will feature 23 weekend games – six Fridays, nine Saturdays and eight Sundays.

Detroit will host all Original Six opponents at least one more time, and play a total of 18 games against Original Six opponents – including five against Montreal and four against Boston and Toronto.
