Tecumseh native Cameron Clarke wasn’t ranked by NHL Central Scouting heading into the draft, but that didn’t stop the Bruins from selecting him.

Boston picked Clarke, a Ferris State commit, No. 136 overall in the fifth round of the 2016 NHL Draft.

Clarke certainly caught the eyes of scouts throughout the 2015-16 season; the Lone Star Brahmas blueliner was named NAHL defenseman of the year after posting 50 points in 59 games.

He is slated to be patrolling the blue line for the Bulldogs starting next season.
