The United States Hockey League announced today that a member of the Muskegon Lumberjacks has claimed multiple league honors for the 2015-16 season.

Lumberjacks forward Rem Pitlick has been named the league’s player of the year and forward of the year, after the Plymouth, Minn., native recorded 89 points in only 56 regular-season games this past campaign.

Pitlick broke the Muskegon franchise mark for points while leading the USHL in both goals and assists. His 46 goals rank third all-time in the USHL Tier I era.

The Lumberjacks’ forward is a Minnesota commit, but he is expected to return for another season in Muskegon for 2016-17.
