USA Hockey announces next year’s NTDP U17 roster; four Michigan names selected

USA Hockey has announced its roster for next year’s National Team Development Program Under-17 Team, and four Michigan names have made the list.

Blade Jenkins (Jackson), Jonathan Gruden (Rochester), Will MacKinnon and Bode Wilde (Birmingham) will all represent Michigan on next year’s NTDP U17 roster.

Jenkins is a University of Michigan commit who played with the Compuware midget minor squad this past season. Gruden, a Miami commit, skated with MacKinnon, a Denver University commit, with Honeybaked midget minor.

Wilde, a Honeybaked alum and Harvard commit, spent this past season with the Chicago Mission of the HPHL.

Other notable names include Jack DeBoer, born in Michigan while his father Pete was coaching the Plymouth Whalers, and Adam Samuelsson – son of former NHLer Ulf Samuelsson.
