Michigan’s famed ‘CCM Line’ isn’t broken up just yet.

USA Hockey has announced the first 13 players named to their roster for the upcoming IIHF World Championship roster, and the Wolverines’ trio of JT Compher, Kyle Connor and Tyler Motte all appear on the list.

Between the three players, the CCM Line amassed 190 total points, and all three players were named Hobey Baker Finalists.

Since the conclusion of the season, however, the two Michigan natives from the line – Motte (St. Clair) and Connor (Shelby Township) – have signed pro contracts with their NHL parent clubs, ending their collegiate careers.

Additionally, NTDP alums Nick Foligno, Noah Hanifin, Auston Matthews, Auston Matthews and Connor Murphy are on the Team USA roster. Compher and Motte are also NTDP alums, bringing the Team USA roster total to seven for players who skated in Ann Arbor or Plymouth with the national program.
