Report: Red Wings sign Harvard’s Criscuolo to minor-league deal

John Buccigross is reporting that the Red Wings have signed Harvard’s Kyle Criscuolo to a minor-league deal that will start in the 2016-17.

Per the ESPN anchor and hockey broadcaster, Criscuolo is on his way to Grand Rapids to join the Griffins for the remainder of the season.

Criscuolo, 23, just concluded his senior season with the Crimson, recording 32 points in 34 games. In four seasons, the native of Southampton, N.J., recorded 113 points in 124 games.

He was the first player to captain Harvard for two consecutive seasons in 92 years.
