NCAA Tournament field announced; see where Michigan, Ferris State are headed

After yesterday’s wild finish to the NCAA conference tournament weekend, the field has been set for the national playoffs.

The 2016 NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey Tournament bracket has been announced, informing the Michigan Wolverines and Ferris State Bulldogs of where they will be playing next weekend.

Michigan will be the No. 2 seed in the Midwest Region, taking on No. 3 Notre Dame in the first round at U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. The rival schools will square off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, with the game slated for ESPNU.

Meanwhile, Ferris State will be the No. 4 seed in the West Region, and they will take on top seed St. Cloud State at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minn. They will play at 3 p.m. on Saturday, with the game broadcasted on ESPNEWS.
