Lumberjacks acquire Livonia native Tyler Irvine

The Muskegon Lumberjacks announced today that they have brought another Michigan native into their organization.

The USHL club has acquired Livonia native Tyler Irvine from the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders in exchange for a 2016 Phase 2 draft pick.

Irvine, 19, is in the midst of his first USHL season, having skated with 25 games with the RoughRiders this season.

Last year, he skated with the Topeka RoadRunners of the NAHL, recording 17 goals and 17 assists in 57 games, and six points in eight playoff appearances.

Irvine is a product of the Livonia Stevenson high school program, where he recorded 46 goals and 84 assists in 57 games.
