Hockey Has Heart ‘Night at the Museum’ set for Feb. 13

The Hockey Has Heart organization announced it is holding an auction benefit and dinner dance at The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn on Saturday, Feb. 13 from 7:30 p.m. to midnight.

Hockey Has Heart was founded in effort to help others in the hockey community, whether involved in the house mite division or at the collegiate level. The non-profit organization maintains a mission of “hockey people helping hockey families in need.”

The event, will include tours of museum exhibits, various food stations, dancing to music by Motor City soul and an auction on a variety of items. Tickets are $100 per person.

Founded in 2002, Hockey Has Heart was the organization that helped with a fundraiser for Catholic Central’s Matt Sorisho, who was paralyzed from the waist down after crashing into the boards during a preseason tournament prior to his senior season in 2013.
