The Red Wings have announced their promotional and giveaway items for the 2015-16 season today.

There will be two ‘Hockey Hall of Fame Night’ events to honor Sergei Fedorov (Nov. 10 vs. Washington) and Nicklas Lidstrom (Feb. 23 vs. Columbus) to celebrate their inductions into the HHOF. At each of the celebratory contests, fans will receive a collectible print of the Wings’ hall-of-famers.

New to 2015-16, the Wings will provide themed T-shirts for their two ‘Community Night’ events. The first 5,000 fans in attendance at ‘Breast Cancer Awareness Night’ (Oct. 16 vs. Carolina) and ‘Military Appreciation Night’ (Nov. 13 vs. San Jose) will receive custom T-shirts.

‘Kids Days’ are also returning to Joe Louis Arena – on select dates the first 2,500 fans ages 12 and under will receive these following items:

  • Sling bags on Nov. 8
  • Locker room T-shirts on Nov. 29
  • Snow Globes on Dec. 20
  • Toothbrush holders on Jan. 17
  • Cereal bowls on Feb. 14

All fans in attendance at the home opener will get glow wands, and the first 7,500 fans in attendance will receive a clear tote bag.
