Today, USA Hockey announced the dates for their ‘Try Hockey For Free Day’ dates.

The first nationwide ‘Try Hockey For Free Day’ date will be on Saturday, Nov. 7, as part of ‘Come Play Hockey Month.’

The second chance for new players to experience the game will be on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, during Hockey Weekend Across America.

With the support of Kraft and the National Hockey League and NHL member clubs – along with the rinks and associations that operate the events at the local level – the USA Hockey ‘Try Hockey For Free Day’ events provide a way to introduce new players to hockey, completely free of charge to the participants.

Associations and rinks interested in hosting a ‘Try Hockey For Free Day’ skate can register at this link.
