Four Michigan names added to NTDP U17 roster for 2015-16 season

UPDATE (June 16): The National Team Development Program has announced that Logan Cockerill has been added to their 2015-16 Under-17 Team roster.

Cockerill, a Brighton native, is a Boston University commit. He recorded 59 points in 64 games with the Belle Tire midget minor team, after spending previous seasons with the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies.

USA Hockey announced their second wave of commitments for next year’s National Team Development Program Under-17 Team today, and there are four Michigan names added to the roster.

Michigan natives Josh Norris (Oxford) and Dylan St. Cyr (Northville) will be on next year’s NTDP U17 squad, as will Joseph Cassetti, a Pleasanton, Calif., native who has been playing with the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies.

Norris, also a Oakland Jr. Grizzlies product, racked up 10 goals and 18 assists with the OJG midget minor club this season. He has verbally committed to the University of Michigan.

St. Cyr, a Honeybaked alum, led the High Performance Hockey League with 16 wins this year, while recording a 2.05 goals-against average and .899 save percentage.

Cassetti recorded 12 goals and 15 assists with the Grizzlies this season.
