The Senators weren’t going to let Christian Wolanin slip through the draft again.

Ottawa used their fourth-round pick (No. 107 overall) to pick Wolanin, a Rochester native and Muskegon Lumberjacks product.

Wolanin, the Lumberjacks’ captain last season, is a North Dakota commit. Last year, he racked up 41 points and 107 penalty minutes in 56 games for the ‘Jacks.

The Little Caesars product was originally selected by the Green Bay Gamblers in the second round of the 2012 USHL Draft, before the Lumberjacks acquired him in a trade halfway through his second junior season.
