2015 NHL Draft: Brendan Warren selected by the Arizona Coyotes

After his time with the University of Michigan, Brendan Warren will be joining the Arizona Coyotes organization.

Warren, a Carleton native, was claimed by the Coyotes No. 81 overall in the third round of the 2015 NHL Draft this morning in Florida.

A product of the Compuware youth hockey association, Warren has spent the last two seasons with USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program in Ann Arbor. He is committed to the Wolverines and is expected to be in Ann Arbor for the 2015-16 season.

Rated the No. 66 overall player in North America by NHL Central Scouting, Warren racked up 34 points in 52 USHL games last year with the NTDP.

He is listed at 6-foot and 191 pounds on the NHL Draft site.
