Luke Glendening scores game-winner for Red Wings Thursday night

Out on the west coast late last night, Luke Glendening played the hero role for the Detroit Red Wings. The Grand Rapids native scored the game-winning goal for Detroit in their 3-2 victory over San Jose out in California. Glendening scored his eighth goal of the season at the 18:45 mark of the third period to break a 2-2 tie when he took a pass from Gustav Nyquist, spun, and whipped a backhander past Antti Niemi for the decisive tally.
