There was plenty of hockey to be played in the U.P. this weekend, with Michigan Tech and Northern Michigan needing extra time in both of their contests.

On Friday, the two schools played to a 3-3 tie. Here are the highlights from that one:

And then on Saturday, Nothern Michigan’s Mitch Jones broke a tie at the 2:47 mark of the extra session to give the Wildcats a victory over one of their main rivals.
