The Muskegon Lumberjacks announced a trade today that will bring another Michigan native back home.

The USHL club acquired Livonia native Max Humitz in a swap with the Lincoln Stars.

Humitz, 19, was a sixth-round pick of the Stars in the 2011 USHL Futures Draft. He played in 103 games with Lincoln over the course of three seasons, picking up 13 goals and 27 assists in the process.

Prior to his time with the Stars, Humitz played with Honeybaked midget minor, Livonia Stevenson high school and Victory Honda.

The Lumberjacks also announced that they have traded away defenseman David Trinkberger, a native of Germany, to Sioux City.
