The fifth annual Michigan Public High School Hockey Showcase is returning to Chelsea’s Arctic Coliseum from Feb. 1-8.

The showcase, which features many of the public high school hockey programs across the state, will host 65 games over the one-week span, with teams coming from the Upper Peninsula all the way down to the Ohio border.

As one of the largest assemblages of high school athletic talent in Michigan, the MPHSH Showcase offers the opportunity for players to compete in front of junior and college scouts, and it serves as a celebration for high school hockey in our state.

The MPHSH mission statement:

  1. To create and promote a fair and even playing field for the public high school student-athlete hockey players.
  2. To support the public school teams and do what is in the best interest of the public school teams. All revenues from the MPHSH Showcase will flow through a non-profit charitable organization and any revenues from the showcase that exceed expenses will be split among the participating schools in the showcase.
  3. To showcase the outstanding talent and work ethic of the best public high school student-athlete varsity hockey players and teams.
