Alpena junior player’s exit accident going viral

We were going to let this one play out, but now that’s it’s making the likes of Puck Daddy and The Hockey News, we figured it was time to share.

There’s a Vine going around right now that shows Alpena Flyers defenseman Mitchell Skiba of the MWJHL clotheslining himself as he exits the ice. Here’s the short video:

After scrolling through his Twitter account quickly, we realized that there’s just as good of a highlight to show, this time with Skiba giving out quite the hipcheck at center ice.

 

We wish Skiba the best of luck and we’re glad to see he’s OK.
