NTDP to wear Han Solo on jersey during ‘Star Wars Night’

When the NTDP holds their annual ‘Star Wars Night’ game on Jan. 17, the team will be saluting everyone’s favorite intergalactic smuggler and scoundrel.

Han Solo – a.k.a Harrison Ford – will be on the front of the team’s custom jerseys for the evening. The back features Solo’s Millennium Falcon.

The fourth annual ‘Star Wars Night’ will feature the NTDP Under-18 Team taking on the Dubuque Fighting Saints. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.

From Jan. 27 to Feb. 19, fans can bid on the jerseys, with the proceeds going to C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor. Last year, the jersey auction raised more than $4,100 for the hospital.
