Eight Michigan natives on U.S. women’s team for World University Games

USA Hockey announced today the 22 players that will compete for the U.S. at the 2015 Winter World University Games, and eight of them come from the state of Michigan.

The U.S. Women’s National University Team – comprised of players from American Collegiate Hockey Association teams – will compete with other countries from Feb. 4-14 in Granada, Spain.

The Michigan representatives are:

Rachael Booth – Washington, Mich. – Miami University

Eleanor Chalifoux – Beverly Hills, Mich. – University of Michigan

Monica Korzon – Ann Arbor, Mich. – University of Michigan (graduate)

Kendra Myers – Cedar Springs, Mich. – Grand Valley State University

 

Defensemen

Corey Robison – Lake Isabella, Mich. – Grand Valley State University

Madison Smiddy – Grand Rapids, Mich. – Penn State University

 

Goaltenders

Maria Barlow – Howell, Mich. – Michigan State University

Caitlin Nosanov – Middleville, Mich. – Davenport University
