This past weekend, some of the top boys’ teams across North America converged on the Chicago area for the annual Bauer World Hockey Invite.

  • Of the 16 different divisions of play, five of the Bauer World Invite titles went to Michigan-based programs. Here are the championship game results from the six different title games that featured Michigan teams:
  • 2005 AAA – Mt. Clemens Wolves 4, USA Eagles 2
  • 2003 Elite – Belle Tire 5, Chicago Mission 4
  • 2002 AAA – Compuware 3, Southgate Senators 0
  • 2001 Elite – Belle Tire 5, St. Louis 3
  • 2000 Supreme – Honeybaked 4, Chicago Mission 1
  • U16 Supreme – Yale 4, Honeybaked 3

Congrats to all the teams who captured titles over the weekend. It’s the girls’ turn this weekend, as the tournament shifts to Metro Detroit.
