MiHockey’s ‘The Shift’ with Marcel Godbout

Welcome to MiHockey’s new feature ‘The Shift’ – hockey questions for hockey players. In each ‘The Shift’ feature, we take you through the mindset of today’s hockey player through a question-and-answer session, profiling players from the NHL all the way down to youth travel hockey.

Our next featured player is Waterloo Black Hawks (USHL) forward Marcel Godbout. The Center Line native – a St. Clair Shores Saints, Belle Tire AAA and Shattuck St. Mary’s product – is starting his second season in the top junior league in the country. Last year, playing with the Des Moines Buccaneers, Godbout recorded 14 goals and 11 assists for 25 points in 54 games. When he’s done with juniors, he will be heading to Michigan State University to play for the Spartans.
