Lumberjacks acquire Swartz Creek native Jacob Gwillim

The Muskegon Lumberjacks announced today that they have completed a trade with the Johnstown Tomahawks of the North American Hockey League that will bring a Michigan native back home.

The Lumberjacks have acquired goaltender Jacob Gwillim, a native of Swartz Creek and product of the Lansing Capitals and Compuware hockey programs.

Gwillim posted a 2-1-0 record with a 2.90 goals-against average and .918 save percentage in four games with the Tomahawks this season.

During his two midget years with the Lansing Capitals, Gwillim compiled a 20-9-o record with a 1.81 goals-against average and .930 save percentage.
