Michigan ranked No. 8, Ferris State No. 9 in first USCHO Poll of 2014-15

The first USCHO men’s D1 college hockey poll was released today, and two Michigan teams cracked the Top 10.
The University of Michigan has been ranked No. 8 by the panel of coaches, administrators and media. Meanwhile, Ferris State is right behind them at No. 9.
The two schools battle one another in a season-opening showdown on Saturday, Oct. 4 in Big Rapids.
Minnesota took the top spot, claiming 36 of the 50 first-place votes.
